History & Artisans

This vase is woven by artisan families from Michoacán, Mexico, who work with fibers such as bulrush and chuspata, aquatic plants obtained from the region's lakes. The bulrush is harvested, sun-dried, and moistened before weaving to regain flexibility. Each piece is carefully handcrafted on a metal structure, preserving the value of the artisanal craft.

Care Instructions
  • Remove dust with a dry cloth, duster, or soft brush.
  • Avoid constant humidity, direct water, and prolonged sun exposure.
  • Preferably use indoors or in well-ventilated covered spaces.
Circular Life Cycle

Bulrush is a natural plant fiber that can be composted at the end of its life cycle. The metal structure can be recycled or reused. By choosing pieces made with natural fibers and artisanal processes, you support more conscious, durable, and responsible consumption.
